The UUMA and UUSCM are exploring some exciting opportunities for collaboration to benefit community ministers, including recommending clergy membership in both organizations for all active UU clergy and increasing support for community ministry clergy. An affiliated UU organization dues discount for UUMA members will in most cases make UUSCM membership FREE. Find out more and let us know what's happening in your ministry!

Does your leadership role in your covenanted community constitute ministry? Members of the UUSCM and the Commissioned Lay Minister program of UUA CERG will provide inspiring examples of lay ministry, foster conversations for mutual discernment, and outline the resources available for the recognition, support, training and recognition of lay ministry.

Opportunities for Promotion!

UUSCM members may offer business cards, brochures or other free promotional material at the UUSCM booth in the exhibit hall. Just stop by the booth with your materials. Only one item per person, please!

If you are a UUSCM member and are on the GA program as a panelist or presenter, please let us know what you're presenting, including session title, day, time and room. We'll put something up at the booth about it.

(If you can, contact us with this information before GA. Better yet, get your information to us by May 25 and we will include an announcement in the June 1st issue of Beyond The Walls.)

Opportunities to Volunteer!

The UUSCM booth needs volunteers to help staff the booth during the exhibit hall hours. We strive to have all new booth volunteers paired with an experienced booth host. It is really fun to hear peoples' stories and answer their questions. Please get in touch with the booth coordinator, Doug Jones at 217-377-6787 (cell), djones42@gmail.com, or visit the booth at the start of GA.
