You can let us know you're coming on the UUMA Meet-up page at uuma.com. The UUMA and UUSCM are exploring some exciting opportunities for collaboration to benefit community ministers, including recommending clergy membership in both organizations for all active UU clergy and increasing support for community ministry clergy seeking affiliation with congregations. Room 2211 in the Kansas City Convention Center
Lay ministry is happening in the UU world! Join both lay and clergy members of the UU Society for Community Ministries to learn more about it. UUSCM is a UU affiliate organization which offers recognition of the committed service of UU leaders as lay ministry. Learn more about how your work in UU settings and in the community could be strengthened by identifying as a UU lay minister. UUSCM also offers resources and support for lay ministers seeking a formal relationship with their congregations as commissioned lay ministers.

Opportunities for Promotion!

Current members of UUSCM may offer a stack of business cards, brochures or other free promotional material at the UUSCM booth in the exhibit hall. Just stop by the booth with your materials. Only one card, flyer or brochure per person, please!

If you are a UUSCM member and you're on the GA program as a panelist or presenter, please let us know what you're presenting, and the day, time and room. We'll put something up at the booth about it. (If you can, contact us with this information before GA.)

Email uuscministry@gmail.com with questions or information: your email will be forwarded to the correct person immediately.
