Once you have completed the application a notification is sent to our Membership Director. The Director or a member of the Membership Ministry will be in contact with you to talk about our organization and to verify that you meet our requirements. He or she will be happy to answer any questions.
You will be required to give the contact information two personal references. One of these must from the Parish Minister of your Unitarian Universalist Congregation (unless you are the Parish Minister). If your congregation does not have a minister, give the contact information for the President of the Congregation.
After your application has been verified you may pay your dues and your membership will be activated. Once you are an official member you will be able to log in and view the Members Only area. You can also modify any of your information and set Privacy Settings.
Our default Privacy Settings are that the General Public can view your professional information and members can see your personal information. However, you may use the Privacy Settings to reset those defaults to keep any of your information private. If you have a particular issue, email us for help.
